TIME TO WAX

BEFORE

Before waxing service, you should: 

• Drink water before, to stay hydrated

• Avoid alcohol/caffine 4hrs before service.

• Hair needs to be 1/4" or the length of a grain of rice. At least 10 days of growth. 

•  Gently exfoliate your skin 3 days before your appointment. Use a loofah or exfoliating glove. The fresher the skin, the better the wax.

• Please inform me of any medications you're taking such as, Accutane (you must be off this medication for a minimum of one year.), Retin-A, Renova, Differin, Antibiotics or Bloodthinners. These factors are known to make waxing more prone to "Skin Lifting" 

• Please do not come in if your skin is irritated, cut or sunburned.

AFTER

For the next 24- 48 hours after your wax, avoid the following as they can irrtate the skin or increase the chance of ingrowns.

• Exfoliating products (wait 2 days) 

• Hot tubs, saunas or long hot baths (opt for a warm shower & gently wash the area with Antibacterial soap)

• No Sun or tanning beds (48 hours)

• Avoid the Gym - No heavy exercise or sessions where you will sweat more than normal.

• No sexual activity - let the skin REST! 

• Wear clean, loose fitting clothes

• No Makeup if you waxed your face.

Starting 3 days after your appt. exfoliate everyother day and moisturize everyday. DO NOT MOISTURIZE the day of your next scheduled appointment.

*Do not shave between appointments 

**Reschedule every 4 weeks.
